WASLA has a rich source of continuing education opportunities and providers. If you have course or event ideas, would like to present a talk or workshop, or help us develop additional offerings, please contact us. We are particularly interested in offerings that address health, safety, and welfare issues. We are continuously seeking new content and welcome your input!

Greening Redevelopment + Building Community: A Look at Neighborhood Development within South Lake Union

2.5 LA CES Professional Development Hours

WASLA-Committee on the Environment (COTE) is pleased to offer a continuing-education walking tour sampling a selection of projects in Seattle's South Lake Union. These projects showcase the influence landscape architecture and urban planning are having on a rapidly changing district. We'll see some interesting project challenges, consider the area's history and have great opportunity to discuss what sustainable development is all about.
The tour is limited to 24 registrants, so register soon! Earlybird rates end May 4. A lively, no-host social hour will follow the tour.

Green Roof Boot Camp
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is bringing its Green Roof Boot Camp to Seattle! This series of four courses will be held from 5/31 - 6/3, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, at Mirabella Seattle, 116 Fairview Ave. N. Attendees may register for as many of the courses as they wish to take. The Green Roof Boot Camp Series is recommended for professionals preparing to take GRHC's accreditation exam.
