WASLA Roles and
Responsibilities
Below is a list of WASLA's committees.

Committee Chair and Member
Policies

Terms of service for Committee
Chairs and Committee Members of standing committees and
other committees created by the Executive Committee shall be
a minimum of one (1) year and shall begin and end at the
conclusion of the annual meeting of the Society.

The Executive Committee
approves Committee Chair appointment.

Each Committee should have a
separate Executive Committee Representative and Committee
Chair.

The Committee Chair shall
report to the Executive Committee Representative before
their monthly meeting. The Executive Committee
Representative will be responsible for updating the
Executive Committee at the monthly meetings.

The Executive Committee
Representative and Committee Chair will be responsible for
setting the term goals and tasks for the committee.

Committee activities, aside
from internal committee meetings shall be approved by the
Executive Committee
Committee Roles

Executive Committee
Representative - the Executive Committee Representative will
report on committee activities at the monthly Executive
Committee meeting and provides communication from the
Executive Committee to the Committee Chair including; goals,
budgetary concerns and feedback from the Executive Committee
on committee activities.

Committee Chair - The
Committee Chair is responsible for organizing committee
tasks and responsibilities. The Committee Chair is
responsible for setting up meetings, maintaining committee
rosters and help recruit committee members. The Committee
Chair reports activities to the EC Representative.

Committee Members - Committee
members work with the Committee Chair to complete tasks
established by the committee.
