The award-winning team at GGLO, a collaborative and integrated firm in Seattle and Los Angeles, seeks: Landscape Designer: 3+ years of experience About The Role To support the project team in the completion of one or more projects in accordance with established goals and scope of that project(s). Collaborates with all team members in an effective and efficient manner and works under direction of and in collaboration with key project team members (Principal-in-Charge, Project Manager, Project Designer, Technical Lead, etc.).

Job Requirements

What You Have (Requirements): 3 or more years of professional experience, with 1 year minimum relevant Seattle work experience, Demonstrated proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and hand drawing, Demonstrated ability to produce quality work, Landscape Architecture Degree from an accredited University in the United States, Authorization to work in the United States, Must be able to work independently, in small groups, and large groups, Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible, Awareness of current design trends and new products, Awareness of sustainable design core concepts including material and plant selection, resource conservation, and synergies with other disciplines, Experience participating in construction observation tasks including submittal review, RFI response, site visits, and plant review

Successful GGLO Landscape Designers Have: LEED accreditation (SITES, BD+C or ND), Experience with Revit and Rhino, Experience in our core markets, Ability to explore design 3-dimensionally, Experience working on multiple projects at once, Coordinate design with other disciplines, and communicate in timely manner, Awareness of local and national building codes and accessibility requirements, Awareness and understanding of standards, codes, technical ability, Take initiative on projects, and exhibit commitment to overall goals and deadlines set by project manager
