Experience the Seattle Central Waterfront through the lens of light. Led by Jill Cody of Dark Light Design, this guided walking tour will highlight how the waterfront’s lighting concept evolved from big-picture intent into a coordinated palette of lighting elements that support a cohesive public realm. We will discuss luminous hierarchy, pedestrian comfort and wayfinding, and how lighting can reinforce character at key destinations without overwhelming the landscape. Expect an active, question-driven tour focused on what worked, what we learned, and what to apply on future projects.
