Job Description

As Project Manager, your role would include:

• Interfacing with clients for design tasks and project management, both in person and virtually.
• Communicating design vision and technical parameters verbally and graphically to existing and prospective clients.
• Skillful management of internal collaborative design team and subconsultants through all project phases, from planning through construction administration, both in person and virtually.
• Ability to articulate and manage production processes to ensure timely completion of high quality deliverables.
• Ability to lead inclusive community engagement processes.
• Ability to perform construction observation duties and monitor design quality.
• Assisting with project pursuits including: marketing, business development, and proposal writing.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up and down the pacific northwest as needed.

Job Requirements

The West Studio is looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented licensed Landscape Architect with 7+ years’ experience to join our team. We desire candidates with excellent collaboration, communication and mentorship skills who utilize a forward-thinking evidence-based approach to achieve vibrant supportive environments. Qualified candidates are registered Landscape Architects and hold or aspire to obtain EDAC, SITES, or LEED accreditation. Candidates have demonstrated leadership and skills in the design of supportive environments such as healthcare, education, supportive housing and sustainable solutions along with project management of large, complex projects. Successful candidates will thrive in an innovative, inclusive, evolving environment; and be flexible, empathetic and respectful as they listen to and work with diverse communities and stakeholders. Candidates will have exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills with strong project management and organizational skills. Preferred software proficiencies include CAD/LandFX, Adobe Create Suite, InDesign, and the Office 365 platform.
