2026 WASLA Field Day

Join us for the 2026 WASLA Annual Field Day! We will have a lunchtime keynote speaker and several walking tours around the venue.
This year's event will be celebrating the University of Washington and the U District.
Seattle’s University District (U District) is a vibrant, walkable neighborhood blending academic energy, independent businesses, and cultural heritage. Landscape architecture at the UW and in the U District plays a key role in preserving its historic landscapes, enhancing public spaces, and supporting sustainable growth.
Schedule:
10:00 AM: Registration opens
10:30 AM: First round of tours depart
11:45 AM: Snacks and exhibitor visits
12:00 PM: Second round of tours depart
1:15 PM: Lunch and keynote speaker
- Kristine Kenney, Balancing Ambition and Stewardship: Two Decades of Shaping a Campus Environment
- Kristine is an accomplished and dedicated steward of the University of Washington campus, where she directs the planning and physical development of the built environment, both inside and out.
2:15 PM: Visit exhibitors 2:35 PM: Third round of tours depart
